Quality Tracking

Last updated

License feature: Quality Tracking

Monitor > Quality opens Quality Tracking ("Reject, scrap, and rework event logging"), with tabs Events, Summary and Reasons.

Note: On a device whose OEE configuration has no Reject Count Tag, quality events are that device's OEE rejects: each piece logged lowers OEE Quality for the shift it was logged in. With a Reject Count Tag, the tag is the reject count and quality events don't change OEE, so the same bad part isn't counted twice. Quality events also feed the Quality Chart widget, and the Andon Reject count on a device without OEE.

Log bad parts

  1. On Events, click Log Quality Event.
  2. Choose Device and Reason, enter Quantity (minimum 1) and optional Notes.
  3. Click Log Event. The button stays disabled until a device and reason are chosen.

Operators and above can log events; deleting an event (trash icon, no confirmation) needs editor or above. The table has an All devices filter and shows Timestamp, Device, Reason, quantity, Notes and Actions.

Reason codes (Reasons tab)

Add Reason opens New Reason Code with Name (e.g. "Surface Defect"), Category (Reject, Scrap or Rework), Color and Sort Order. Editor or above.

Seeded reasons: Dimensional Out of Spec and Surface Defect (Reject); Material Defect and Tool Breakage Scrap (Scrap); Rework - Minor Adjustment and Rework - Re-machining (Rework).

Summary tab

  • Three cards — reject, scrap, rework — with pieces, number of events and percentage.
  • Quality Issues by Reason: ranked bars per reason with events, pieces and percentage; footer "Total: N pieces".
  • Filter by device. All time.
  • Empty state: "No quality events to analyze."

Linking to work orders

The API accepts workOrderId on an event, but the page does not offer it.
