Value Widget
Last updated
Shows one value in large text with its title above it — spindle speed, a part count, a zone temperature.

|---|---|---|
| Unit | Text beside the value, e.g. °C, RPM. Shown smaller and dimmer than the number | blank |

| Multiply by | Scales the value for display only | 1 |
| Unit position | After the value or Before the value | After |
| Group thousands | Digit grouping (Number, Percent and Bytes formats) | see Formatting Values |

Binding
Add one binding; the widget reads the one named value. It can be a tag, a static value or an expression.
Behavior
- No value yet shows —.
- With Before the value, the unit is written against the number (
$12.50) instead of beside it. With Percent, the % sign is the unit and Unit is not shown (87.00%). - A text value (a program name, a state string) is shown as it arrives.
- The tile is dimmed and hatched while the tag has bad quality or the connection is lost.
Example
Barrel temperature from an injection-moulding machine: bind value to IMM-04/Barrel/Zone2Temp, Unit °C, Decimals 1, Font Size Extra Large. A reading of 231.46 shows as 231.5 °C.
