What each row shows

Severity (red critical, amber warning, blue info), the rule name, the message (or tag path) and the value that fired it, and the time. Unacknowledged, uncleared alarms have a pulsing dot; acknowledged ones say "acknowledged"; cleared ones are faded.

Behavior

  • With All alarms the list covers every alarm on the appliance. Choose Selected alarms and tick a line's or machine's rules so its screen shows only its own alarms. Search the checklist by rule name, device or tag path.
  • Selected alarms shows only alarms raised by the ticked rules. Alarms that have no rule, such as a device going offline or a ladder fault, and alarms from a paired appliance, are left out. With nothing ticked, the widget is empty and says so.
  • A ticked rule that is later deleted is ignored and drops out of the count.
  • The rule selection and the severity filter apply together: an alarm must match both. In history mode with Selected alarms, the widget looks through the latest 200 alarms, then shows up to Max Rows of the matching ones.
  • The severity filter is applied after fetching: in history mode with Max Rows 25 and Critical only, you get the critical alarms among the last 25, not the last 25 critical alarms.
  • Acknowledging needs the operator, editor or admin role. If an acknowledge is refused or fails, a notification says why.
  • The list updates on the refresh interval, not instantly.
