Setting it up

  1. Add a Camera widget.
  2. Add a binding and point value at the vision device's last_capture tag. The device is taken from the binding.
  3. Save.

Behavior

  • The picture only changes when the device archives an image. The vision driver's default archive mode is Keep failures, so the widget shows the last part that failed, not the live camera. Set the device's archive mode to Keep every inspection to follow every part (this writes an image on every frame) — see Captures.
  • Old captures are pruned by count and disk budget. A name that has been pruned shows "That capture is no longer stored."
  • Needs a signed-in viewer: on a public link it shows "Sign in to view camera captures".
  • "No capture yet" means the tag is empty; "Bind this to a vision device's last_capture tag" means no device is known.
